The overall theme from this book is that "A boy and a girl must go through a special trial or series of trials before maturing". Becausein order for a girl and a boy to learn and be c0mfortable around eachother ; they have to go through problems. Nobody or anything is never right. After all the problems they go through they will then be mature and not argue towards eachother as much.
"Enjoy life now, for the present moment, because we all die too soon".
Meg believed that because she just wanted Spring Break to come along so she could part it up, and just let go of all the past.
